Elliott Waterman – Financial Advisor:
- Time with NM: 6 years, beginning his career in 2019.
- Prior Experience: Graduated Cum Laude from the University of San Francisco, where he played baseball for the USF Dons and was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the 13th round of the MLB Draft. After his professional baseball career, he returned to USF as Director of Operations for their Baseball Team. He holds FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses and has built an advisory practice specializing in financial preparation.
- Passionate About: Born and raised in Martinez, CA, Elliott values creating a safe, comfortable space for collaborative goal-setting with clients. Outside of work, he continues to carry the discipline and teamwork learned from his baseball career into all aspects of his life.
Michael Byrne – Managing Partner:
- Time with NM: 18 years.
- Prior Experience: Started at Northwestern Mutual as a college intern while attending Maryville University of St. Louis, later serving as Field Director, Assistant Regional Manager, and ultimately being appointed Managing Partner.
- Passionate About: Lives with his wife and their three children, and three King Charles Cavaliers—Ruby, Henry, and Quincy. Enjoys spending time at home and in Tahoe with his family, attending Giants games, and taking motorcycle trips across the country with friends.
Hannah Morando, CFP – Financial Advisor/Growth & Development Director:

- Prior Experience: Attended FIDM in Los Angeles where she was President of Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society, then transferred to UC Berkeley, earning a degree in Political Science & Government. Began as a college intern in 2018 and has since impacted over 500 clients.
- Passionate About: Born and raised in Marin County, lives there with her fiancé and puggle, Thor. Enjoys country concerts and horseback riding.
Christopher Welton, MBA, CFP – Wealth Management Advisor:

- Prior Experience: Founded and sold an online children’s party rental company. Held leadership roles in product management at startups, including idealab and Oversee.net. Then began a career in investment banking.
- Passionate About: Lives in the SF Bay Area with his wife, Rosa. Loves cooking, hiking in the redwoods, and hosting friends. Earned a Political Science degree from Amherst College and an MBA in Strategy and Finance from UCLA Anderson.
Key Responsibilities: As a Financial Advisor, your primary role will be to engage with clients to understand their comprehensive financial needs, providing personalized guidance to help them achieve their financial protection and planning goals. You will design and implement tailored strategies that safeguard clients' assets, income, and overall financial well-being, ensuring their long-term security. Regularly reviewing and updating clients' financial plans and insurance policies to reflect any changes in their circumstances or goals will be crucial to ensure continuous protection. Additionally, you will cultivate a robust network of clients through referrals, active community involvement, and professional associations.
Qualifications: We prefer candidates with a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related discipline. While prior experience in insurance, financial services, or business development is beneficial, it is not mandatory. Successful candidates will possess excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, strong analytical skills, and the capability to build lasting client relationships. We welcome individuals from business development-oriented organizations with uncapped earnings potential, including those from medical devices, education (teachers, administrators), logistics, solar, payroll services, tech business development, real estate, auto rental and others. You will be required to obtain state insurance licenses, with training provided and sponsorship considered.
